Believe in the physical therapy plan<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Your physical therapist, as expected, gave you a series of exercises and ergonomic corrections that you should incorporate into your daily routine for a short or longer period of time.<\/p>\n<p>You just have to show <strong>faith <\/strong>and <strong>trust <\/strong>in this plan.<\/p>\n<p>The physical therapist is an expert in <strong>movement analysis<\/strong> and has given you exercises, not to make you suffer, but to ensure that your efforts translate into a permanent state of full functionality.<\/p>\n<p>Think about it and <strong>believe <\/strong>in your therapist&#8217;s efforts.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2_Ensure_that_you_fully_understand_your_physiotherapists_instructions\"><\/span>2. Ensure that you fully understand your physiotherapist&#8217;s instructions<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Your <strong>full understanding<\/strong> of the recovery plan is crucial.<\/p>\n<p>When you know <strong>why <\/strong>you are doing a specific exercise, how it will help you, and what results you expect in the long term, everything is easier and more conscious.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-2277 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/bioanadrasis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/homeworkoutfitnessexercise.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"705\" height=\"396\"><\/p>\n<p>Also make sure you fully <strong>understand <\/strong>the technique or way in which you were asked to perform a movement or exercise.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, this part is mainly the job of your therapist. He or she should clearly show you what <strong>exactly <\/strong>he or she wants, and it&#8217;s good to have a plan printed out for you to follow. <\/p>\n<p>It would be even better if he could send you the exercises <strong>electronically <\/strong>so that you can see the exact exercises and their technique on video.<\/p>\n<p>Your responsibility here is to express all your questions and request as much <strong>information <\/strong>as you can.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"3_Put_the_%E2%80%A6plan_in_a_shot\"><\/span>3. Put the \u2026plan in a shot<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The physiotherapist will ask you to perform a series of exercises or techniques 2-3 times a day. The best way to respond to this without stress is to plan. <\/p>\n<p>Time the plan you have been given and create 2-3 fixed time frames throughout the day to carry it out.<\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t leave it &#8220;to chance&#8221; or &#8220;whenever it&#8217;s convenient&#8221; or &#8220;a little later&#8221; because you will likely break the plan and soon frustration will lead you to giving up.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>The 3 strategies are:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>a) wake up 30 minutes earlier and do your exercises<\/p>\n<p>b) do them immediately after returning from work and definitely before sitting down &#8220;for just 5 minutes&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>c) 30 minutes before bed, a routine that will give you a more restful and enjoyable sleep.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"4_Get_your_family_or_loved_ones_involved_in_the_game\"><\/span>4. Get your family or loved ones involved in the game<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>If you absolutely need motivation or supervision, ask for it from your near and dear ones.<\/p>\n<p>Explain to them the <strong>purpose, frequency, and importance<\/strong> of the treatment plan and ask for support and reminders when things are not going as you have imagined in the area of \u200b\u200b&#8217;commitment to the plan&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-2276 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/bioanadrasis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/in-the-time-of-coronavirus-when-its-advisable-to-maintain-at-least-three-feet-of-distance-from-anyone-a-home-gym-offers-the-safest-workout-.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"491\" height=\"368\"><\/p>\n<p>Do you want your people to benefit too? <strong>Suggest doing the exercises together<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p>This will give you even more motivation. Set goals<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Goal setting is an extremely beneficial process.<\/p>\n<p>Set <strong>small goals<\/strong> and set some bigger long-term goals as well.<\/p>\n<p>Reward yourself every time you achieve a small goal and make the recovery plan feel like a game.<\/p>\n<p>Ask your therapist to set <strong>realistic and measurable<\/strong> goals for you.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"6_Be_patient\"><\/span>6. Stay active<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The body is made for <strong>movement<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>It is important to stay active and vibrant, and the recovery plan will give you the right incentives to do so.<\/p>\n<p>Patients who, after the end of passive treatments and the removal of pain, chose the absence of movement from their lives, visit therapists again and again.<\/p>\n<p>The rehabilitation plan given to you by your physical therapist is the <strong>guarantee <\/strong>that you will remain active and mobile when you return home.<\/p>\n<p>Ask your therapist which sports activities are safe and start immediately.<\/p>\n<p>Walking, swimming, cycling, rowing, running and so many other <strong>activities <\/strong>are waiting for you to discover.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"8_Long-term_prevention\"><\/span>8.
