Dimitris Economou
He completed his studies in the Department of Physiotherapy at the Higher Educational Institution of Lamia in 2009. In 2011-2012, he attended two years of the acupuncture training program at the Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Until 2017, he worked in a physiotherapy clinic in Chania as well as at the Medical Exercise Rehabilitation Center of Cholargos.
After completing the Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) seminars of Dr. Vodder’s method (of the German ZML Pritschow school), he deals exclusively with the rehabilitation of lymphatic diseases (primary-secondary lymphedema, lipedema, chronic venous insufficiency, postoperative-post-traumatic edema) as well as with measurements of personalized compression garments at the modern Bioanafrasi physiotherapy center where he holds certification from the Juzo Academy.
Since 2017, he has been a member of the APLESO Association of the Panhellenic Association of Physiotherapists, where he actively participates in the group’s activities. He was one of the trainers in the Upper Limb Self-Tightening Workshop at the 2nd Panhellenic Symposium in 2022 and a key figure in the free patient information program carried out by APLESO in collaboration with the “Alma Zois” association.
